Hi! Welcome to my blog<3
Hi there! My name is Melissa, and I'm a stay-at-home mom to two beautiful girls, Magnolia and Amelia. I'm also a nursing student, and I'm on a journey to beginning a more natural life. I've always been interested in natural living, but it wasn't until I had kids that I really started to make it a priority. I wanted to give my daughters the best possible start in life, and I believe that natural living is the way to do that. One of the first things I did was start cloth diapering. I know it's not for everyone, but it's been a great experience for me. I love knowing that I'm not contributing to the environmental impact of disposable diapers, and I also love the feeling of being more connected to my daughters. We also are starting weekly trips to the farmer's market and hope to make weekly blog posts showing what i got for the week and what I plan to create with these goodies.
I am in nursing school with the intention of becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife. I am currently a sophomore in my ABSN program, so I have a good ways to go. I also intend to share my journey through the struggles of being a nursing student while balancing the role of a mother to two babies. One of my biggest passions is labor and birth and want to make posts pertaining to natural birth and coping mechanisms.
I am still in the very beginning phase of switching to a more holistic and natural life, but if this is something that you would be interested in, follow along in my journey! I am always open to constructive criticism and if you have any good recommendations on making the switch to a more holistic lifestyle, I would love to learn more.
